“The highlight of our week.”
(Year 1 teacher and ExploraTots customer, 2018)
We know from experience that our exceptional approach to learning enables children to develop outstanding skills across the breadth of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and beyond.
In one setting following this way of learning over the course of two years, the percentage of Reception children achieving an ‘expected’ or ‘exceeding’ judgement across the seventeen areas of the EYFS curriculum, was 97% and 99% respectively. This compares to a 2016 national average of 67.3%. These phenomenal results reflect the outstanding quality of learning that can take place when allowing children autonomy over their learning, combined with a well-planned and resourced learning environment.
Praise for our Early Years settings:
“Children are afforded the rich opportunities needed to initiate ideas and activities, so they can develop the learning characteristics supporting lifelong learning.” (Moderation report, 2017)
“Children demonstrate resilience, collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and perseverance.” (Moderation report, 2017)
